David M. Paul is a Partner with the law firm of Berger Lagnese & Paul, LLC
David M. Paul graduated with highest honors from the College of Wooster in 1985, where he received various academic awards including the Jonas O. Notestine Award, given to the graduating senior who has achieved the highest level of scholarship over the four year college course, as well as being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. David obtained his J.D. with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1993. While at Pitt Law, David was a Law Fellows Scholar, an associate editor at the Journal of Law and Commerce, and the 1992 recipient of the William H. Eckert Prize, given for superior legal writing. David also earned a master’s degree from the prestigious Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
Today, David’s practice focuses on medical malpractice, where he has obtained multiple significant jury verdicts and settlements throughout Western Pennsylvania for victims. David has also been selected by his peers to the Best Lawyers in America publication each year from 2015-2022 for his superior work in Medical Malpractice Law. Inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America publication is reserved for the most highly-regarded lawyers in the Country and is based on an exhaustive national survey comprising more than 5.5 million confidential evaluations by top attorneys. David has also been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer each year from 2017-2022.
